About Dr. Malkmus

Born and raised in Springfield, Dr. Malkmus has a strong connection to the area. Dr. Malkmus obtained his Doctorate of Chiropractic and Master's degree in Nutrition and Human Performance from Logan University in 2024. Prior to his studies at Logan, Dr. Malkmus earned his undergraduate degree in 2021 from Missouri State University. He has passed NBCE parts I-IV as well as Physiotherapy and Acupuncture, obtaining licensure in Missouri as a chiropractor, and in meridian therapy and acupuncture. Dr Malkmus also hold a Class IV laser safety certification through Summus, and is certified in proficency in Activator Protocol. Dr Malkmus employs techniques ranging from Diversified Adjusting, Thompson Technique, Flexion-Distraction, and instrument assisted adjusting, ensuring that the methods utilized adapt to each patient.
In Dr. Malkmus' opinion, family is of utmost importance, playing a significant role and providing great support. His parents Brian and Deborah, as well as his brother Gray, have allways been there for him and in March 2025, Dr. Malkmus expanded his family by marrying his wife Natasha. Soon after, he opened Malkmus Chiropractic & Acupuncture.
You can find Dr. Malkmus outdoors most weekends, taking his Giant Schnauzer Gus on a hike, or riding his bike. Getting out and staying active are important parts of Dr. Malkmus' life, allowing time to decompress and stay healthy. Though tough to fit in a busy schedule, these times are invaluble.
